Artists in Residence

The Commonwealth Chamber Ensemble is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Center for Creative Arts at Shady Grove.  We look forward to serving as Artists in Residence for this fine organization.

The Center for Creative Arts offers both private lessons and group instruction in all areas of the creative arts.  The Center has classes for both children and adults in music, dance and art.  You can check out their website by clicking on their logo to see what their offering now!

As part of our involvement with the Center, several of the musicians of the Commonwealth Chamber Ensemble offer weekly music lessons.  Kathy Whittle teaches flute, and Katrina Goodwin teaches clarinet and saxophone.  Keep checking the Center’s websites to look for special workshops that will be offered, as well.
