The Chesterfield Community Band
The band was formed in the Fall of 1997 in cooperation with the Chesterfield County Department of Parks and Recreation. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to providing an opportunity for residents of the greater Richmond area to perform fine concert music. Emmanuel Barks joined the group as its musical director in 2005.
Like the Chesterfield Community Band, the Henrico Concert Band (formerly the Varina Band) is open to musicians of all levels of ability.
