Just a quick note to let you know that the Japanese version of Autumn Almanac is now available to order in the U.S.A. through Darla records. Here's a link to their page.

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

I'm very happy to announce that my album "Autumn Almanac" will finally be properly released through Happy Prince in Japan. Every song was re-edited, re-mixed and re-mastered, and there are four additional "bonus" tracks as well.

I actually made two complete versions of the album; one was completed in the summer of 2008, and the other in autumn of 2009. The latter was what I self-released that winter. Looking back, I wasn't entirely satisfied with how it turned out. There were elements I missed from my original ideas. So, for this release, I attempted to take the best of both versions and combine them into the definitive way the album is meant to be heard.

I hope you will enjoy it! More information can be found here: http://happyprince.jp/catalogue/fireflies-autumn-almanac-hppr031/
When I know more about international distribution, I will be sure to post about it.

Tracklist:

01 The Breeze
02 Paper Crane
03 Your Map
04 Piano Song
05 Everything's Hidden Away
06 Stars Falling Down
07 Himitsu
08 Confidentially
09 Summer too Soon
10 Sunsets in June
11 A Thousand Days
12 Back Home*
13 Confidentially (Orchestra Version)*
14 Our Time to Fall*
15 Your Map (Acoustic Version)*

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,

Lots of little robots are currently working hard this week to produce copies of "autumn almanac," which will be available for purchase through me. The "official release date" is....let's say...December 7th.

I will try to have it available to purchase through places like tonevendor etc, but as this is my first time doing this on my own, I can't offer any guarantees / details at this point.

For those of you living in Japan, distribution will be handled through inpartmaint. I'll be posting when it's officially available there.

Also! In celebration of "the holiday season" I will be giving away an EP of covers for your free downloading enjoyment in the coming weeks. It will include a few past covers (talking heads, asobi seksu) as well as some new ones and old un-earthed ones.
