Nestled in a quiet cove, Little River Campground provides a pleasant retreat. Our campsites and cottages sit beneath a canopy of Giant Oaks and Pine Trees, overlooking the Little River. We are located in Gloucester, Massachusetts on scenic Cape Ann, where the white sand beaches and cool ocean waves have attracted visitors worldwide. At Little River Campground you can relax, go swimming at our private swimming area, kayaking, boating, fishing, diving & more!!!

Visitors of Gloucester and Cape Ann love it here for the unique blend of ocean and wooded countryside. The historic fishing port of Gloucester, the rugged coast line of Bass Rocks, and the charming little villages have attracted artist, filmmakers and tourists for over a century. Gloucester is known as "America's Oldest Seaport" and folks have been camping on Little River since 1890! With our waterfront facilities we can be the affordable base for your next adventure – we are minutes away from Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester by the Sea, Essex, Ipswich and just a train ride away from Boston!

50 Sites (20 of which have 30-amp/50amp electric & water for campers/RV owners and 30 tent sites-5 of which are waterfront)
24 "Rustic Rooms" - each room is approximately 12' x 12' with 1 full size bed - you provide your own linens and bathrooms are located at the end of the hall

Sites with Water & Electric Hook-ups(no dump station on site but one is 5 min drive away) - $45/day $260/week, $640/Monthly Season $2800 Pets are allowed on these sites only with proper paperwork.
Tenting Only - Single Sites (5 of which are waterfront) - $35/day $200/week  
 (Each campsite is limited to one tent and a family of 4. (A daily rate of $10.00 per adult will be charged for additional occupants.)
Tenting Only - Double Waterfront Site $65/day (Limited to two tents and up to 8 people) No pets allowed on water front sites.
Rustic Rooms - $65/weekdays $75/weekends $180/week. Long term room stay $150 a week(Each room is approximately 12'x12' with 1 full sized bed. You provide your own linens and bathrooms/showers are located at the end of the hall. Maximum 2 adults per room. Inquire about our "Family Room" with two beds for $240 a week. No pets allowed in Lodging rooms. ALL LODGING TAXES & FEES INCLUDED IN RATES
Cottage Rentals - Each cottage has a kitchenette, full bathroom & bedroom.$500.00 per week. No pets allowed in Cottages.

Little River Campground Guidelines
These guidelines are offered to help ensure the enjoyment and safety of our guests and for the consideration of our neighbors and neighborhood. We reserve the right to evict, without refund, anyone violating these guidelines, defacing property, or behaving in any manner that may cause harm to campground guests or management We reserve the right to select our clientele and guests. 
  • All Deposits are 50% and are NONREFUNDABLE.
  • Rescheduling is possible call for more info. 
• A visitor is anyone who is not registered with the camping party at check-in. All  visitors must
  register at the office and will be charged a fee. We do not allow.  visitors to bring pets into the
  campground or parking areas. We may at times limit  the number of visitors allowed due to
  overcrowding.
• Excessive use of alcohol by adults, and drinking by minors is absolutely not  permitted.
  No keg beer allowed.
• For our camping guests, small fires are permitted for cooking (MA reg 7.2.1) only in  off ground
   containers. Never leave fires unattended. All fires must be extinguished  by 11 P.M.
• There are no cooking facilities in dorm rooms. Cooking appliances are not 
  
allowed in dorm rooms.
• Please dispose of trash in dumpster located near campground entrance.
• No smoking allowed in dorm rooms or cabins.
• No tampering with or dismantling of smoke detectors in rooms or cabins. Doing so  will result in expulsion from campground.
• No pets allowed in rooms, cabins or on waterfront tentsites.
• Quiet time is from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. For the comfort of our guests, this will be  strictly enforced.
   Guests and/or their visitors who do not comply will be asked to  leave and no refund will be given.
• Room capacity is limited to 2 adults. Tentsite capacity is 4 people per site.
• No washing of boats, cars, or trailers on campground property
• No Stringing of clotheslines.
• Gray water may not be drained on campground property. If using your trailer  facilities, you must
  dispose of gray water and waste at local municipal sewage  treatment plant located off premises.
• Pets are allowed for registered campers only. A valid rabies certificate must be  presented upon
  check in. Pet owners must clean up after their pets. Pets must be  leashed at all times. Pets are
  not allowed in rooms or cabins.
• All sites, rooms, or cabins, must have at least one adult over 21 years as primary
   responsible occupant.
• THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY IN SWIMMING AREAS. Swim at your own
   risk. Parents/Guardians, especially in swimming areas, must closely 
  
supervise children under 16.
