CLASS REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:
DEADLINE Three business days before first class unless noted otherwise IN PERSON Register at the Alice Moore Center Tuesday - Saturday, Noon to 5PM BY PHONE/FAX With charge card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover REFUNDS A $5.00 fee will be deducted from refunds requested PRIOR to registration deadline. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER DEADLINE. CLASS SIZE If minimum is not reached by registration deadline, you will be notified of cancellation and full refund will be issued. IMPORTANT Registration is invalid unless accompanied by payment. Classes filled first come, first served basis. CANCELLATION Cancellation due to weather will follow East China Schools.

Jason Stier
– BFA, EMU;
M Ed., Alternative Education, Lock Haven U.; Art Teacher, Lori Hannon - B.A. Art Education, M. Ed., WSU; Art Teacher, East China School District at Eddy, Gearing & Washington Elem. Schools. Currently a Social Studies teacher at St. Clair Middle School, she has been an SCAA instructor for three years. Juliet Smith - Three years of concentrated ceramic study at Kalamazoo Valley Community College where she created sculptures and signs for Kalamazoo Community Garden Initiative. Studied Arts & Science at Macomb Community College. Currently an instructor of children's art enrichment classes at Pine River Elementary. Carolyn Szymanski - B.S. Art Education, WSU. M.Ed. focus: Art & Our Environment. Instructor of Creative Writing, Humanities & Fine Arts in Detroit, Livonia, Redford & Grosse Pointe Woods Schools. Participant in numerous art shows & has served as agent for 35 Thumb Area artists for 5 years. Owner of The Artist's Cove since 1976. Cheryl "Charlie" Imboden - B.S. Art, WMU, specializing in ceramics. Experience includes Kalamazoo Institute of Arts; The Art Center, Mount Clemens; St. Clair County Community College & Crossroads Community Church. A member of the Mud Slingers, she has home-schooled her children and has co-taught a group of home schoolers. Scholarships: Applications will be available for a $1000 art scholarship to high school and junior college students in the Blue Water Area. Students who are pursuing a career in visual arts can apply by calling the Alice Moore Center at 329.9576. Applications will be available in the spring.
