Ok, let's get the show on the road :)
1. Open a new transparent canvas 650 x 550
2. Click on the flood fill tool, then put #b48462 in the foreground and #a82e2c in the background.
3. Create a fore/background gradient - linear, angle 0, repeats 3, invert ticked, floodfill the canvas
4. Effects/Texture Effects/Fine Leather
5. Copy peacefulback1 and paste onto canvas as a new layer, move to left
6. Copy peacefulback2 and paste onto canvas as a new layer, move to right
7. Copy MTM_bomen and paste as a new layer
8. Image/Mirror then Image/Resize the tree only, to 85%
9. Add a drop shadow
10. Open the peacefulwhispersfl2 (the small one) and paste onto your canvas as a new layer
11. Apply the same drop shadow (no 9)
12. Duplicate the flower twice for a total of 3 flowers and move into place as per my graphic
13. Open the Gigi tube, copy and paste onto your canvas as a new layer
14. Resize your tube, first to 65% and then again to 75%, move to the left in your canvas
15. Apply the same drop shadow (no 9) and repeat with 1 and -5
16. Open and copy the paper (small one), paste onto your canvas and move it BELOW the tree
17. Apply the same drop shadow (no 9) and repeat with 1 and -5
18. Highlight then TREE layer, the zoom into the spots where the paper rings are. Use the eraser brush and carefully erase the tree stump parts so the rings will show through
Be careful NOT to move either the tree of paper once you have erased.
Best is to LOCK the 2 layers together with the toggle, by setting them both to 1,
so if they are accidentally moved, they will move together
19. Add the text you want or use mine
20. Merge together the bottom 3 layers
Do this by closing off all the layers and leaving only the bottom 3 layers open, click on an open layer and merge visible
21. Still on the merge layer, select all
22. Add a new raster layer (right above the merged layer)
23. Floodfill with a gold pattern
24. Selections/Modify/Contract by 3, hit delete
25. Floodfill with the gradient, angle 45 and repeats 10, invert checked
26. Selections/Modify/Contract by 10, hit delete
27. Floodfill with gold again
28. Selections/Modify/Contract by 3, hit delete
29. Select none
30. Add an inner bevel to the frame
31. Right click the layer, Arrange/Bring to top, the frame is now on the very top of all the layers
32. Open all the layers and make sure everything looks right,
you may need to move a few things around to make them fit nicely
33. Now Add your watermark, be sure to add it on the very top layer if you use a brush or tube
34. Close off the bottom layer (the merged one)
35. Now merge the rest of the layers together.
You should only have 2 layers left now.
36. Highlight the top layer, add a new raster layer
37. Select All/Modify/Contract by 16
38. Add a cut out
39. Merge the cutout layer down once.
You should have 2 layers again.
Now we're going to animate:)
1. Copy the bottom layer in PSP (the background) and paste in AS as a new animation
2. Duplicate the frame until you have 8 frames total
3 Select all the frames, CTRL + A,
4. Open the animation.pspimage in AS. Be sure that your General settings are set to keep frames on seperate layers
5. CTRL + A to select all the frames and edit copy
6. Back to the background frames, all the frames should be selected, right click inside the first one and paste into selected frame
6. In PSP, copy the TOP layer and Paste as a new animation in AS
7. Duplicate the frame until there are 8 frames. 8. Select all the framse, copy
9. Paste onto the main canvas the same way as you did the animation
You can resize if you like, save as a gif.
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial. I would love to see your results.
