Pinball Wizards Convention, 2K
Allentown, PA
Fri. May 5th - Sunday May. 7th, 2000
This year's show was better than last year. There were more games to play, and most importantly, MORE EM'S(electromechanicals). The deals were there, if you hung around long enough, inside and outside. I noticed that the EM pins with backglass and/or playfield animation, went quick. Like that's a surprise. I literally walked away from a Williams 1967, Kick Off pin for about ten minutes so I could find the seller, came back, and the game was sold, doh! This was a cool pin. The backglass has an animated football grid. I think the asking price was about $425, but that wasn't firm, so somebody got a good deal. I've provided links to the Internet Pinball Database wherever necessary to make up for the pics I didn't get at the show. The sweat from my hands kept making the camera slip, and besides, I came all the way from VA to play those pins! I had some pics from inside the showroom, but Tripod unfortunately deleted them when they cut their free space from 50 MB to 20 MB. I did not own a cd burner back then, so the pics were never backed up. Nowadays I store most of my stuff on my cable space, and everything is backed up on cd. Guess I learned the hard way. |

Well, we made it! |
Cousin Dave all ready to check out his first pin show |
| Look by that Uhaul. It's a King
of Diamonds, as seen in the movie, Tommy, Amazing
Journey scene. $1k as is unshopped was bit out of my budget, some wear on pf. Wonder what it ended up going for or did it? |
Whoa! Check out that hard to find Cyclone pin. If only it hadn't been missing the bumper caps. Does anybody sell these used or repro? The mystery pin on the left is a rare Genco pin, Screwball.(Thanks Gene!) |

Last year there was a Slick Chick inside. Wonder how much this one went for? |
Parts, anyone? Look closely at that b/w framed pic of a pinball factory? More details, anyone? Bueller, Bueller...................

Wow, $50. Looks like it's missing a few parts though. This one must have gone quick. I never even noticed it. (photo courtesy of Bruce Clark) |
Hm. An old cigarette machine. Anybody, more info? |
Atari Destroyers. Never heard of it. Year? Any good? |
Two classics!! Check out the red cab Space Invaders. Which version is this? The one I remember playing had a white cab. |
