It seems all too often you see in the news "Workers rally to save American jobs"! I would like to know when you re going to see our politicians rally to save American jobs? Here is what I know for sure:
1)
We vote them into office.
2) They work for us.
3) They are supposed to uphold
the U.S. Constitution.
4) We, as taxpayers, pay their wages.
5) We would
like to see Legislation passed to the benefit of a citizen of this country.
After
listing six statements above, only one is being done at all. Can you guess which
one it is? Well #4 is the only correct answer unfortunately.
A person is
supposed to get paid for doing an honest days work for a decent wage. Are politicians
exempt from this rule?
Personally, I would like to see all their wages stopped until I see some work. Giving lip service doesn't count.
I don't know if you have tried to get a hold of a politician by phone lately. They are too busy doing whatever to contact you at all. Now, there are a few exceptions (very few).
Isn't it funny they get a hold of you when they got a fundraiser to further their campaign. Personally, I want to see some action, or they will get what they give us - NOTHING.
