To give an idea of the scale: the proposed building (pink) is about the size (square footage) of the Safeway on Shattuck. The rather large houses south of the site (dashed lines at bottom of map) also give an idea of the scale. You may also compare the project size to a football field. For historic perspective, see ... The photo below is a 3d model of the Temple Beth El plan for the 1301 Oxford site, which was on display for the public at the Beth El booth at the Solano Stroll, Sept. 10, 2000. At that time, the model did not show any parking lotat all.
