SCORE CAN HELP YOU START YOUR NEW BUSINESS!!!

SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business", provides free and confidential small business advice to help you build your business—from idea … to start-up … to success.    SCORE is a NATIONAL nonprofit association dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide.   SCORE’s extensive networks of  retired and working volunteers are experienced entrepreneurs and business people. These volunteers provide free business counseling and experienced advice as a public service to all types of businesses, in all stages of development.

FREE COUNSELING

Free counseling sessions are offered by SCORE. These counseling sessions are typically scheduled during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, except holidays.   Contact our office for an appointment today.  Time slots fill quickly, so early scheduling is recommended.

Generally, the initial counseling session will last about 1 hour. As your plans develop, we continue to be interested in helping you achieve your business goals, so follow-up sessions are encouraged.  Again, there is no charge, no matter how many follow-up sessions are needed. In addition to counseling at our office, counseling can be arranged for your convenience at other mutually agreeable times and locations, such as at local libraries.

SCORE provides workshops and seminars on various business topics for only nominal charges.

For internet users, on-line counseling is available.  Nationwide, SCORE has more than 500 members who counsel on-line in their areas of expertise.  They can be contacted at www.score.org.  A response to your query is usually provided within 48 hours. While face-to-face counseling is recommended for most situations, on-line counseling can provide another source of business expertise to you.

We provide “Favorite Links” as a service to our clients.  Most of the links are pertinent to starting a business in Indiana and have proven to be useful resources in planning and operating you business in Indiana.  Click here to view these links.
