Profile :
An original member of the Fishtown River Rats, Billy returned to action this year after flirting with retirement. A great skater and prototypical power forward, he can beat you in many different ways, reminding many of John LeClair. His arsenal includes a powerful slap shot, a quick wrister and deceptively quick moves. Billy scored an amazing 40 goals in 13 games in the 1999-2000 season and, although he did not match the numbers put up the year before, led the team in goals and points again in 2000-2001. After much soul searching Billy, again, decided to retire.
Career Highlights :
Almost a hat trick per game average, over 4 point-per-game average
Leads team in career playoff PPG, SHG and GWG
Had a goal and an assist at the First Union Spectrum vs. Campbells Soup
Strengths :
A wicked slap shot, especially from the left wing
A great skater, he rarely gets knocked off of the puck
Can be a dominating two-way player
Weaknesses :
With 68 goals in 25 games, WHO CARES?!!
