Profile :
Tony, nicknamed " Tony Pinch " ( because of his on-ice play and his penny-pinching ), is one of the last minute free agents picked up by the Sasquatch before their inaugural season and he has become a mainstay on the Sasquatch blue line for the next four seasons. Due to the Sasquatch's overabundance of defenseman, Tony was left unprotected in this summers expansion draft, but was not claimed by either team. Tony accepted the Sasquatch managements qualifying offer of a 10% raise, keeping himself off of the free agent list, much to his agents dismay. He was quoted as saying "If Tommy's staying then I'm staying". His teammates just think he doesn't want to have to pay for a different jersey.
Career Highlights :
Unbelievably, Tony leads all defenseman in career playoff points
Met Tommy Holzer - 1998
Made a game saving play, blocking a shot in the waning minutes of the teams victory at the First Union Spectrum
Strengths :
Tony frequently pinches at the point in an attempt to keep the puck in the offensive zone
Always has a scouting report on the opposing teams goaltender
Finally got a team jersey
Weaknesses :
Tony frequently pinches at the point in an attempt to keep the puck in the offensive zone
He knows when to keep his mouth shut but usually doesn't
For some reason he always sits next to Holzer in the locker room (!!??)
Team jersey still doesn't have a symbol on it
