Profile :

      A career street hockey player, John was talked into trying ice hockey and has had a productive career.  Last season had John talking about retirement as 2001-2002 turned out to be the least productive year of his career, but for the second season he took a penalty. Management admits to being concerned over the lack of production, but will be happy as long as he continues to excel in his role as a gritty, hard-nosed winger who is not afraid to go into the corners ( that's because everyone is usually gone by the time he gets there ).  Undaunted by the public speculation of his demise, John is predicting better numbers next season.  He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent when the season ends, but has been told by management that there's a place for him on the Sasquatch as long as his rubber shoulder can hold out.

Career Highlights :

• Had an assist and was a + 2 in a rousing win at the First Union Spectrum 4 / 4 / 01

• Third on the team with 6 career game winning goals

• A member of the infamous " Crash Line "

Strengths :

• When able to corral the puck, John has a strong wrist shot and can bang home a quick one timer from in close

• He is able to pop his shoulder back in its socket if it dislocates during a game, and usually doesn't miss a shift!

• Only two career penalties ( 87 games )
