Comments on the pages design and layout
First, I tend to like dark backgrounds. Bright, white pages tire my old eyes.
Since I have a fascination for space and science fiction, I chose a space/stars theme. (Yes, I know, how unoriginal!)
Using L-view Pro and HTML Writer 0.9 beta 4a,
I created my first home page (still there as the nonframes page of index.html.) Then in early April, 1996, I decided to go 'frames.'
Once I'd decided on the ludicrous frame setup it was easy to cut & paste bits of my old non-frames page into lots of teeny tiny pages.
I now use a combination of Homesite 5 & MS-Word to maintain the site.
Its an exercise to demonstrate how a relatively simple frames format and small graphics can produce a quick yet busy page with easily updateable modules (the pages in the frames.)
