I remember Val from Lowell as well as Chem 1B lab we took at UC-Berkeley. She was cheerful even at 7:30am- the lab
course time. I'll never forget the time I ruined Val's date's evening when they happened to sit next to me at a
movie (The Graduate). Val and I conversed the whole showing, while her date probably stewed in his seat
