August 2000
8/22/00 - I don't know what it is about me and these updates that take place in the wee hours of the morning, but here we go again. It's 4:00 am and I'm feeling guilty that the month has almost passed with no reports here on my site. Therefore here is a quickie and a picture.Present weight 192 - that's a loss of 115 lbs in 278 days since surgery. I'm not having very many problems. I do still continue to lose hair, but not in the massive quantities that I did before. The clothes continue to get bigger and bigger. I'm in size 18 jeans and size large t-shirts. Still in a size 18 dress, but remember that is down from a size 30-32 (pretty amazing huh?) My ulcer that was diagnosed last month is almost totally under control. I continue to exercise every day. Last night I actually went running. I got inspired by a book that I read by Judy Molnar - You Don't Have To Be Thin To Win. A woman that started out well over 300 lbs and worked running into her workout regimen almost from the start. She was the "coach" of Rosie O'Donnel's Chub Club. Anyway, I thought if she can run....so can I. Well, even though I've worked out so hard, I'd have thought I'd like to DIE during that first run, but I won't be discouraged.
Not much else to report, so I'll close for now and post a new picture so you can gauge my progress. Thanks for checking in on me. Until next time...
