Hi, my name is Lyn Dell Sowers, and I am a 37 year old woman from Pennsylvania who has struggled with a lifelong problem of morbid obesity. I created this web page as a journal of my steps toward the elusive prospect of Weight Loss Surgery. My surgery date has come and gone (11-18-99) so now my journal entries will detail the changes in my life and my progress with the weight loss and any other struggles I may encounter. This is a photo journal as well, so as you progress through the pages, you will go through each step with me and hopefully begin to see the weight begin to drop.
