06-18-00 - Happy Fathers Day! Well, today is my 7 month anniversary since my surgery, and it's too bad I'm not a father because I got a wonderful Father's Day gift. As of this morning, I have lost 100lbs..... Isn't it wonderful? I can really hardly believe it's true. I have been unable to exercise as much as I was used to over the past 25 days because my grandmother was ill and became hospitalized. And because the hospital where she was staying experiencing some low staffing problems, we (her family) elected to stay with her round the clock to make sure she received all the care she needed, which we provided ourselves as far as the tlc kind of care. So as of Saturday, she has been moved to a rehab and I believe I will now be able to get back into the swing of my exercise routine. And then hopefully I will soon see the days of being in the 200 club gone forever. I have dropped from 307 on 11/18/99 to 207 on 6/18/00. But I still live for the days when that first number will be a one. Soon I hope!

Lets see...what else - I have hurt my back - specifically my left shoulder. I don't know if I did it at the gym or lifting my gram, but I'm in agony. I've been to the doctor, who has given me a cortisone injection, a prescription for Vioxx and an ultrasound treatment. The cortisone was a miracle on the first day, but after that wore off, it was pain pain pain again. I have some new pictures to post, but that will be a little later.
