I have lived in Indiana all my life but always dreamed of being near the ocean or mountains, or both. I think they are just so beautiful and serene. Nice to visit I guess!
I was born a twin and loved every minute of it. Well, except sometimes when my sister and I had to dress alike...lol. And yes..we played a few tricks on people. Oh...the memories... (Love ya, Sis!)
When I was 7 months old, I was given to my grandmother to raise...my dad's mom. Thank God for her! My grandmother wasn't able to adopt at the time or I'm sure she would have. My grandmother said I needed to learn to forgive, and I'm still working on that, with God's help. My grandmother passed away many years back and I still miss her terribly. I love animals, especially dogs. I lost my little Muffy when she got hit by a van a few years ago. She was the best dog ever. I miss her sooo much! The vet tried very hard to save her. She survived for a long 9 days for her, I'm sure, before we finally had to give up and put her in God's hands. If you're a lover of pets as I am and have lost yours, please visit Muffy's page. It took me several years before I could bring myself to have another dog but I now have my precious little beagle and she brings me such joy. I'm sure Muffy would have loved her too. :)
I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, whom I love dearly. I love to fish, camp, and listen to most kinds of music. I feel that music has it's way of creating all your moods. Like when I'm doing housework, it makes it a little easier. I even wear a headset on my job to listen to my music..makes the night go by a lot faster..lol...shhhh. I also enjoy bowling and going to the movies. I enjoy working in my yard planting flowers and praying that they grow..lol. My favorite flower is ..you guessed it, the daisy, or anything resembling it.
I love to travel. I only started to fly a few years ago when after so many years I was afraid to but wanted to visit my cousin in Arizona badly enough that I decided that was the only way I was ever going to get there. Wow, all those wasted years! I now love to fly.(as if you didn't pick up on that...lol) And I even request a window seat! I love Arizona. I wouldn't mind it if whenI retired, I moved there. The older I get the less I like the cold weather and Arizona is just gorgeous! But then again, I think I'd miss my kids so I guess I'll stay put. Hey kids..wanna go with me??..hehe.
More favorite things you ask? My favorite colors are blue, beige, mauve and maroon.I enjoy playing on my computer, especially in Paint Shop Pro...I'm addicted! :)I love Tweety Bird, isn't he just the cutest thing?I collect teddie bears, angels, deer (love bambi!).I love candles and collect chamber sticks to put some of them in.I also collect iris arc crystal, when I can afford it!..(which isn't very often..lol.)
