The Magnolia Chorale strives to provide excellence in choral music and to be recognized and supported by the local and surrounding communities.
The Magnolia Chorale at their 2011 Winter concert “Love in December” Our winter concert featured Eric Whitacre's "Five Hebrew Love Songs" and Lux Arumque.
The Sweet Beats a cappella group
Our 2011 spring concert included a special appearance by "The Sweet Beats", a women's a cappella group initiated and directed by Heather Evans (seen on the right). Formed out of members of the chorale, the group was featured in two numbers: "When Sunny Gets Blue" and "Birdland". Their performance was greeted with great enthusiasm by the audience. Hopefully we will hear more from them in future concerts.
