6. Inn at the Convention Center
The next Max station (Convention Center Station) has 5 hotels to choose from. They're Red Lion, Shilo Inn, La Quinta, Courtyard by Marriott and Inn at the Convention Center. These hotels are very close to the Convention Center so they're always in high demand. There are restaurants like Denny's and Red Robin right next to them (as seen in the photos). I actually prefer these hotels over Holiday Inn. As the walk is easier from these hotels to the Rose Quarter. Shilo Inn, La Quinta and Inn at the Convention Center are more like "motel", Red Lion and Courtyard are "hotel". Inn at the Convention Center was the old Best Western and it is now an independently run hotel with many of the same features.

All these hotels are about 5-10 minutes walking to the Rose Quarter. It is an easy walk along the Max line. You can see the Convention Center (the glass tower) in the photo below. This picture is taken at the Max station outside the Red Lion Hotel.
For Courtyard and La Quinta, you can walk along Multnomah Street to the Rose Quarter. Quite an easy walk.
