Our gardens are filled with heirloom varieties from around the world, complete with melons, peppers, tomatoes and other vegetables. In winter, we tend to retreat indoors or to the tropical greenhouse on sunny days. The Siberians roam the house as members of the family. Crumpled pieces of paper and cat toys are often scattered around the floor. Before putting on shoes, it helps to check them for catnip mice.

	Our children, Chris & Becky. Becky lives in Portland which about an hour north of us. We are glad that she is close enough for us to visit often. Chris is a computer programmer. He enjoys music, dance and the sunny city life of Austin.
