Awards
D.M. stands for Distinguished Merit. This is a true
breeders award honoring a female cat who has produced five(5) Grand Champions/Grand
Premiers or other D.M. winners. If your cat is a male, he must produce fifteen(15)
Grand Champions, Grand Premiers or D.M. winners. Luvlypurr
Cattery was awarded nine Distinguished Merit Awards in six different breeds/divisions
including: American Shorthairs(2), American Wirehairs(2), Bi-Color Persians(2),
Exotics(1), Tabby Persians(1), and Solid Persians(1).
Award Winners
Awards, both National & Regional, are won through
competition in the show ring. The include awards for placement, breed, & color. Luvlypurr Cattery produced/showed 63 cats that attained a Grand
Championship/Premiership, in 13 breeds/divisions, to 2 National Wins; 11 Regional Wins; 2
National Breed Awards; 7 National Color Awards; 10 Regional Breed Awards; 23 Regional
Color Awards.
Grand Champions/Grand
Premiers
The title of Grand Champion is awarded with accumulation of
200 points in Championship competition. The title of Grand Premier is awarded with
the accumulation of 75 points in Premiership competition. Luvlypurr Cattery produced/showed 63 cats, in 13 breeds/divisions, that
attained the title of Grand Champion/Grand Premier.
