The Livermore Valley Education Foundation is dedicated to restoring and enhancing academic and extracurricular programs within the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.

LVEF “Make Time for Music” Benefit Concerts
March 11^th – Livermore High School Gym
April 9^th – Granada High School Gym

The LVEF "Make Time for Music" benefit concerts will be held on Tues. March 11th at LHS gym and Wed. April 9th at GHS gym. Both events begin at 7:30pm. Suggested donation is $5 per adult - students & children are free. These concerts assist LVEF in its quest to keep music alive in our schools. Christensen and East Ave. middle schools will perform at the LHS event. Mendenhall and Junction Ave. middle schools will perform at the GHS event.

The Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship
April 3, 2008 – April 6, 2008

Once again, the Livermore Wine Country Championship is returning to the Course at Wente Vineyards. Last year’s tournament was fabulous success! There was a good turn-out for the PGA Nationwide Tour which includes great golf and up and coming gold stars. This event also features wine tasting, food and cooking demonstrations. There is something for everyone!

NATIONAL SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES (NST) ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP

LVEF and National Security Technologies, (NST), are pleased to offer two $5,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will attend a four year program in either engineering or science. The scholarships are merit based. There is a small financial section that will only be used in the case of a tie breaker. Applications may be obtained at your High School Career Center. Application deadline is Wed. April 2, 2008.
