5K4 The Class of 79
My life this is a motley crew. I can't recall who took the pictures, but it was June 1979. I actually left on June the 22nd. Therefore I think it was just prior to our "O"level exams, the reason I say this is that I still have my blazer intact. You see on my last official day, there was a lot of flour and egg and torn up uniform to be seen around Great Barr Comp

 There were a few "also ran's" that were in K4 at some time or another
  • David Piper - Moved to Evesham after the first year
  • Chris Gill - He was the class bully but left the school in the 3rd or 4th year
  • Andrew Price  - Came and went
  • Steven Noaks 
  • David Pengelli - Went back to Cornwall
  • Timothy Wright - Left in the 1st year to go to Streetly Comp

As for the Teachers, both of whom disappeared into the abyss or an asylum no doubt!
