I contracted this company to come deal with the "Grub Problem" (remember the 2003 may edition of the Methuen Moan). The intent was that they come and rid my lawn of grubs, at the same time, fertilize the lawn and bring it back to it's healthy self.
The company's literature quotes the following: "Lawn Problems: We have the experience and technology to successfully treat your lawn problems. Service Calls Are FREE." And "Guaranteed Results: We are committed to providing the highest quality service. If you are not totally satisfied with our recommended service, we will continue working with you until you are satisfied or refund the amount of the last application." Finally "Professional Advice: We'll consult with you personally about your lawn's specific strengths and needs"
All of course utter crap! They came, they applied chemical and they went. I called to ask what they had done. They replied "We have just made a service call and applied chemical". When asked what they were treating for, they replied "Our lawn care professional inspected and sampled the lawn and determined it needed grub control and fertilization" "Leave it to us, I am sure you will see lush green lawn in 30 to 40 days". So I waited..... The lawn turned a beautiful shade of green, however the ugly bald patches seemed to be getting bigger. I was patient and they came two more times. Other than a nice shade of green, I did not see any strong or thicker growth. I asked for a "Lawn Care Professional" to meet me at the property, he said he could not. I asked why, he said he did not make appointments. I tried again to get somebody to meet with me and talk about what we could do to improve the lawn, but nobody wanted to meet with me. All they want to do is keep applying chemical and keep on invoicing you.
So I say this... Trugreen Chemlawn.... You suck! Your customer service is a sham. You could not help me solve what I was paying you to do. Be warned potential Trugreen customers, try everybody else before you ever invite this inept company touch a single blade of your grass!
