Who can join?

Membership is open to any person 18 or older (both men and women).

How do I benefit?


You'll get a local, state and national Voter to keep you current on issues and activities. You will read about a wide range of topics:

  • "No Child Left Behind"
  • environmental concerns
  • The state judicial system
  • And many more

If you join a resource committee you will delve even deeper into a topic. Become part of our grassroots network in Pennsylvania.

Helping Voters

If you are interested in building up the general level of citizen participation in the electoral process, you can translate that interest into results by helping in the League's voters service work. Some League activities you can participate in are:

  • Writing articles for our newsletter
  • Publishing a legislative directory and candidate guide
  • Sponsoring forums
  • Speaking to school and community groups
  • Lobbying your legislators
  • Observing at local government meetings

Please give a little more

Please give more than your dues (even $1 more). Your extra contribution supports the Voter's Guides, candidate forums, campaign reform, and community education on welfare reform, community access to cable TV, teen pregnancy, water issues, Medicare reform, and so much more. Contributions to the League of Women Voters Education Fund are tax deductible.
