I, Leah Makuch, am a slightly eccentric woman who makes a living selling books at Waldenbooks and makes a life reading them. I own my own business, Choonbi Enterprises, powered by Interactive Commerce. Choonbi Enterprises is currently seeking qualified applicants to build offline communities for an online distributor. As for the rest of my life, I am going to marry a wonderful man named Chris, and yes, I even found someone who fits both those characteristics. I currently live in Westfield, Massachusetts with a cat, guinea pig, betta, hermit crab, and four cheerful parakeets.

I am a recent graduate of UMass Amherst. At UMass, I remain webmaster of the UMass Taekwondo Club, and am the former webmaster of the English Society. I also assist in leading the Taekwondo Club, where I am a blue belt/red stripe. I spent my senior year working on my thesis, which can be found on the Writings page.

My pasttimes include writing, reading, sleeping, Taekwondo, yoga, playing with the birds, and having fun with Chris. I enjoy working with sharp objects. I also enjoy cooking and dividing by zero.

I plan to spend my life having a wonderful time sailing on my boat and living peacefully with Chris in our log cabin. My dreams include renovating Bartlett Hall at UMass, owning lots of land, and spending at least a month of every year traveling. Through my business, I will soon have the freedom to never work a job and that will be wonderful!
