MANGUM FAMILY BULLETIN

The Mangum Family Bulletin began publication in 1969 as a "ditto" purple print quarterly. Over the years the bulletin has been sporadic but somehow 38 issues managed to get printed. There is a wealth of Mangum (and related spelling) information in those 38 issues. They include source records from all over the U.S. such as marriages, wills, deeds, court records, land records, military records, lineages under the heading of 'Family Registry', queries, articles, etc. Some English records are also included. See the 'Table of Contents' link below for details on what the bulletin contained.

The bulletin was put on hold in 1992 while I published my two books. The bulletin was re-started in January 2000 under the name:

THE MANGUM MANGHAM-MANGRUM JOURNAL

BACK ISSUES OF MANGUM FAMILY BULLETIN

38 Issues (1969-1992)

At the beginning of 1999 all 38 issues of the bulletin were retyped and numerous corrections made. New, corrected 'Indexes' and a 'Table of Contents" were also created. These newly typed issues, indexes and table of contents have been placed on a CD-ROM. The Bulletins are automatically accessed on the CD by webpage links, similar to the webpages you are viewing now. Also, older word processing formats are included although they must be accessed manually. They are Microsoft Word 97, Microsoft Word 2, WordPerfect 5.0, Rich Text Format (RTF) and Text. All 38 issues are on a single CD. It costs $5 postpaid (recently reduced from $15.00). Paper copies can be obtained in special circumstances, but it is not encouraged because they are much more expensive to reproduce and mail.

BONUS: If you order the CD-ROM you will get several additional items. You will get all printed issues of THE MANGUM MANGHAM-MANGRUM JOURNAL (23 as of 2009), plus a complete Journal index. See link above! You will also receive a sampling of photos from England (1999). Those photos are primarily of the various parish churches and villages that are associated with Manghams in the old records. Finally, there are various high resolution scanned images of wills and deeds printed in the Journal.
