Site Purpose

This site is a recording of the planning, design and execution of the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway in HO scale in my basement.

The site includes background on my layout planning efforts, information from the prototype, Layout Design Elements (LDE's) - those small sections of planet earth that comprise a single noteworthy item of modeling interest, as well as progress (as little as there is right now) on the layout.
