
| Lessons in the Alexander Technique offer a way of learning how to move with ease and grace, and without pain or tension. We all possess the innate ability to move and be this way. The teacher encourages freedom of movement by providing a kinesthetic experience for the body that is balanced and coordinated. The student learns to identify and to consciously prevent harmful habits of use. With time and practice, pain and discomfort will decrease, the student will have more energy, and will begin to experience a stronger sense of poise and balance. |
