Icewater earned his life time breeding license with the AHHA via sport route in eventing, trained by Olympic Gold Medalist David O'Connor and ridden by Donna Smith and David O'Connor. Icewater placed first, second or third in every event he was entered into , with excellent dressage scores and explosive scope over fences.

Icewater is a 53 bonit stallion and Champion of this 2002 AHHA approvals. He is one of only two stallions to date to be awarded the top score "10" for his pedigree by AHHA. For his lofty trot he received "9". He comes from a family of International Grand Prix Jumpers and from one of the best mother-lines in the world, Stamm 474A.
