Elsewhere
on this site, I've professed my undying love for the Internet.
That still stands. That affection doesn't, however, extend
to the legions of naysayers and pessimists who lurk behind
the safety of their modems and monitor screens, waiting for
the next big comicbook movie adaption to be announced so they
can immediately begin chanting their assinine mantra of "this
is gonna suck"...

If
you're a comics fan from way back, like myself, you've long
suffered the disappointment and aggravation of such comicbook
film adaptions as BATMAN & ROBIN, TANK GIRL and, most aggregiously,
Albert Pyun's monstrous CAPTAIN AMERICA.

COMICS
Nostalgia
seems to be the comics industry's stock-in-trade. Sometimes
this is taken to the extreme (as with Marvel's recent relaunch
of nearly every 70's title like Iron Fist, Luke
Cage, Spaceknights and Defenders.) When handled
incorrectly, this is a bad thing.

MISC.
TV, DVD & GAMES
These
are mini-reviews of video game or DVD releases or TV shows that
either I've waited so long to do that they are no longer relevant,
or they were so bad I just don't care to devote much time to them.
