| According to German
legend, there was once a beautiful young maiden, named Lorelei,
who threw herself headlong into the river in despair over a faithless
lover. Upon her death she was transformed into a siren and could
from that time on be heard singing on a rock along the Rhine River,
near St. Goar. Her hypnotic music lured sailors to their death.
The legend is based on an echoing rock with that name near Sankt
Goarshausen, Germany |
|
| [The
members of the a cappella vocal group Lorelei do not condone luring
sailors, truck drivers, airline pilots, bartenders, cab drivers
etc. to their deaths and are not responsible for the actions of
persons in said professions upon hearing and or seeing the a cappella
vocal group] |
Warning:
Full out Joy and Redemption are inherent side effects of attendance
at a Lorelei concert and should be experienced to the degree
that one can take it. |

| “Lorelei
is an all-star lineup of lasses and a lad, lovely to listen
to and looks, not bad. I feel like a lucky fella when
I hear them a cappella.” |
