At the base of the guard tower. The guards stayed on the top level; on the second and third level, condemned prisoners were held awaiting transport to a different site where they were given lethal injection. On the bottom level prisoners were held in suspension from the roof or dunked in a water tank below the trap door seen behind Rodrigo.

This swimming pool predates the use of the Villa as a torture center. On weekends, DINA staff would come with their families to have barbecques and use the swimming pool, less than ten meters from the tower and less than twenty meters from the 1 x 1 meter cells.
