Annual All-church Retreat

An invitation to the all church retreat...

The church retreat is held every year at Pilgrim Firs Camp.

This year we will have the camp from Friday night, June 26th through noon on Sunday, June 28th.

Accommodations After a fun drive, pull your car up, and unload luggage to the contemporary, 2-story lodge housing our group, with comfortably-bedded rooms and women’s and men’s restrooms, each with showers. This building’s community area is expansive, with a large fireplace, cathedral ceiling and huge windows. It is nestled in the wooded setting, with wide trails linking buildings and other features. There are also smaller cabins available nearby.

Recreation During our stays, we hike around the lake, paddle the row boat on the lake, and watch for critters in the lake. We also play ping-pong near the eating lodge, board games in our lodge, and ball games on the huge mowed-grass field, which also has a volleyball net and basketball court. Folks bring books to read, and hobbies to share. The main lodge also has an art room, and we were invited to choose a rock to paint. All of the above activities can be pursued at any time.

Schedule On our past visits, we’ve had an opening evening gathering, outdoor worship service, and an optional organized walk or group-craft time. Individuals are free to choose what to do moment by moment (except for meals), assuming we try not to bother any other guests that might be sharing Pilgrim Firs with us.

Food Meals are served at specified times in a spacious meeting lodge, with large round tables. The food is fabulous – buffet style, with bagels, eggs, bacon, and more for breakfast, make-your-own-taco or deli sandwich for lunch, and dinner might be salmon or steaks. And no cooking or dishes! Coffee and other beverages are available at any time.
