“African Stars ‘n’ Lunes” © 2005

This tiling, consisting of “star” and “eye” shapes (which I’m calling “lunes”) formed by overlapping circles, was inspired by a similar one on my son’s soccer ball.  For some reason, this coloring gives it, to my eye, a rather “African” look, thus the rather unimaginative title.
