"Diminished 7" at Iowa City Jazz Festival

Photos from the Iowa City Jazz Festival performance of "Diminished 7" on July 1, 2007. "Diminished 7" started five years ago at North Scott High School in Iowa and is primarily student-run, featuring arrangements and compositions by band members, according to the festival brochure. The current members, according to the brochure, are Drew Thompson (trumpet), Ben Brabant (trombone), Melanie Drenter (alto), Erin Daniels (tenor), Collin Wilson (guitar), Angel Nicholson (piano), Nick Hennigan (bass) and McClain Bohack (drums).
