sticks that rub on the road. Even when powerful enough to actually
lift the kart they never seem to be very effective in stopping them. |

lever the other end rubbed on the wheel. This actually worked fairly

This disk brake can caliper brake was purchased
on the web. It's directly connected to the rear axle, as is the drive
sprocket. |

We put the gas pedal on one foot and the brake
on the other. This turned out to be a mistake because an inexperienced
friend drove it by pressing hard on both pedals. The disk warped and
the calipers wore out.
