  I led the Quality Assurance department with responsibility for design validation of instrument systems and ensuring compliance with quality system requirements. Managed a department of twelve people, I had process responsibility for new product design validation, development defect tracking, response to customer feedback, product stop shipments, corrective actions, escorting customer auditors, and some internal auditing. My responsibilities also included review of design changes, review of rejected materials, quality system training, and participation in strategic planning.

My notable accomplishments included the development of a strong quality assurance function, implementation of a rigorous design validation process, and a higher level of quality system maturity in the organization. Using my strong computer skills, I also developed Lotus Notes databases to automate the processes for customer feedback, audit corrective actions, stop shipments, and product defect tracking.
