Attendance: Grey, Barbara, Marty, Peter, Stan
Grey Jenkins handed out a form (HARDWARE INFORMATION SHEET), that will be used from now on, on any machine that is serviced by the group.
He demonstrated the logon for Comcast.net (username MALT02 password catdog)
While at the site he showed us the locker and the web page (right now they are just space)
He explained FTP (file transfer protocol) and
\ and \\
\ = folder
\\ = computer-a computer or server, such as a Novell server,
UNC (Universal Naming convention) address
\\myfilelocker.comcast.net\CVG\ftp
he copied a disk to D: then ftp files to (folder)

one or more files could not be transferred to myfilelocker.comcast.net side
What would you use myfilelocker for?
For people who have to move things back and forth. ex. Budgets
can store "a lot of stuff" in one place and always have access to it.
My web page using ftp refreshed got INDEX.html (on .net side)
Played around with my file locker for next week
