The PCG Sierra Club enjoyed a day hike in Hewlett Gulch December 9 2006. This is known as a mountain biking trail, but it also makes an excellent hiking trail.

It was a classic Colorado day - crisp and clear.

We found some of the historic building foundations.

Lunch was at the top of the trail.

We found this cart half way down the trail. It could be used to carry out an injured hiker!
