- What does Bon Scott think he is, the "AC" or the "DC."? According to Bon, "The lightning bolt in the middle."
- What AC/DC single has sold the most copies? "Let's Get it Up" off of For Those About to Rock.
- How much alcohol does Angus drink before a performance? None. Actually, he drinks tea mostly.
- Is AC/DC satanic? Not at all. Even though at first some songs sound a little it like devil worship, if you listen to the words there is always another meaning behind the song. A good example is 'Highway to Hell,' which is the nickname Angus gave to a previous tour of theirs, not going to hell.
- Is it true that AC/DC's first singer was not Bon Scott? Yes, their first singer was actually Dave Evans. He only recorded one single, though, 'Rockin' in the Parlour'/'Can I Sit Next to You Girl'.
- Where and when was AC/DC's first gig? Their first gig was on New Year's Eve in 1973 at the Chequers nightclub in Sydney Australia.
- What is the meaning of the song 'The Jack'? The song is about a woman giving them the clap. There are versions of this song where 'She gave me the jack' is replaced with 'She gave me the clap.
- When did Bon Scott die? Tragedy struck on February 19, 1980. AC/DC's frontman, Bon Scott, was found dead in the backseat of a friends car.
- Is it true that Bon Scott unknowingly chose Brian Johnson to be the next singer for AC/DC? Well kind of, not really. After Bon's death, the band recieved a letter from a 14 year old fan, telling them how this Brian Johnson would make a perfect replacement for Bon. After reading the letter, Malcolm recalled that the band had earlier seen Brian Johnson perform, at that Bon had commented on how great a singer Brian was. So AC/DC auditioned him and hired him as we all know.
- Was there a real Rosie from 'Whole Lotta Rosie'? Yes, when the band was still young Bon met this extremely large woman from Tasmania, at a hotel in Melbourne and became the 29th man she had slept with that month. After they made the song 'Whole Lotta Rosie' they met up with her again, she had lost a lot of weight since then, though. She said that she had heard the song and knew it was about her and that she took it as a compliment!
- Who came up with the name AC/DC? and how? Angus and Malcolm's sister Margaret came up with the name. It seems she saw it on the back of a vacuum cleaner, and thought that it seemed fitting since it had to do with electricity.
- How did the schoolboy uniform thing start? When Angus was younger he'd come home after school, grab his guitar, and leave again to go practice, still in his schoolboy outfit. Later, when the band was started his sister Margaret suggested that he should wear it and he said 'No way!', but was later talked into it by his brother George who said that the outfit would make people remember the band.
- What was the band's first million seller album? 1979's 'Highway To Hell'. Produced by Mutt Lange, and featured their signature anthem, 'Highway To Hell', and the blistering 'Touch To Much'.
- When is Angus Young's birthday? Atlantic Records claimed it was March 31, 1959. But in all actuality it is March 31, 1954. Atlantic Records wanted to make it appear that Angus was just out of school when AC/DC started, so thats why they changed his birthday.
- Why did drummer Simon Wright leave the band? Simon Wright had always been huge fan of Dio, and when they found themselves without a drummer, Ronnie Dio asked Simon Wright if he wanted to join them. It didn't take him long to make his decision. The replacement this time was the veteran drummer Chris Slade who had previously played for Tom Jones, and more recently The Firm. Now the next album was 'The Razor's Edge' which was recorded in 1990.
- Who plays the bagpipes towards the end of 'It's a Long Way to the top'? That is none other than Bon Scott. He learned to play them in his youth and even played in his father's Scottish marching band when he was younger.
- Why was Bon Scott chosen to be the lead singer for AC/DC? Their oringal lead singer was Dave Evans, but he refused to sing live in front of an audience so AC/DC dumped Evans when they found out Scott could sing. Bon Scott was the band's limo driver at the time.

- Is AC/DC in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame? No, A band can't be entered into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame until 25 years after the band was formed. This would make AC/DC eligible in 1999.
- Where is Bon Scott buried? Bon was cremated and his ashes are buried in Freemantle Cemetary in Perth Australia.
- Which guitars do the Young brothers use? Angus uses a 1964 Gibson SG Standard with Ernie Ball .10 strings. Malcolm, on the other hand, uses a 1963 Gretsch Jet Firebird (Gibson Sonomatics 900 M's .012 to .056) with one Tron Filter Pickup missing and everything but the volume button stripped.
- What's the mess with Angus' age? When the band came out, Atlantic Records published bios of the band members. In it, Angus was said to have been born in 1959. However, he later revealed that, in fact, he was born 1955. Atlantic wanted people to think he was just out of school.
- Who runs the show in AC/DC? Malcolm is the guy in charge. Though he will consult with the other band members, it is rumored that his word is the law behind the scenes.
- Is the song "Have A Drink On Me" refering to Bon's death? Officially, no it is just a song. Unofficially, the guys may just be jerking everyone's chains or they may actually be referring to the "Old Man."
- Why don't AC/DC do more songs like "You Shook Me All Night Long.." and "Moneytalks"? Even though those songs are two of their best known hits, the members of AC/DC prefer to have a well-rounded album rather than have one or two hits push a bunch of crap. Angus has stated that none of them like pop or try to be pop.(Thank God)
- How tall is Angus? Angus is 5 feet, 3 inches. The rest of the band is in the 5',5" to 6' range.
