The Perkins Brailler is a quality product and deserves quality service.  The Selective Doctor, Inc. has been repairing Perkins Braillers since 1992.  We have repaired Perkins braillers from individuals and agencies in 42 states, plus England, Guam, Peru, and Puerto Rico.  As of December 7, 2008 The Selective Doctor, Inc. has repaired over 4675 braillers and 1325 typewriters.

Joe Staniewski, Jr., the owner and brailler technician, worked for the IBM Corporation, as a customer engineer servicing computers and IBM typewriters for 19 years before opening up The Selective Doctor, Inc.   Barbara Staniewski, Joe’s wife and co-owner of the business, runs the administrative and accounting division of the company.
