The intent for this website is three fold:
Alana McFall was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she spent a large part of her adolescence wielding a pencil or paintbrush. She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Goucher College of Maryland in 1998, and a Master's in Education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2001. Alana taught special education in a Baltimore City public school for four years. Just before she reached total burnout on teaching special education, she switched to teaching art to pre-kindergarten through eight graders. With this switch came a full-circle return to Alana's first love, which is art. Alana is now studying fine arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the Post Baccalaureate Program and will receive a graduate certificate on May 17, 2004.
