HARVEST FESTIVAL
RETURNS TO EDNA MAGUIRE SCHOOL TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN’S GARDEN
-- Festival Features Live Entertainment, Children’s Crafts, Amusements, Chili Cook-off and a Haunted House
WHAT: The Harvest Festival is an afternoon of fun, providing music, dance, tae kwon do and puppet shows on two stages. It also will feature a variety of
amusements and carnival games such as a rock climbing wall, giant slide, jumpy houses, a haunted house, dunk tank, football toss and wheel of fortune. The event will offer plenty of interactive arts and crafts for the kids, including face painting, spin art, henna painting and pumpkin decorating. For early holiday shopper, there will be harvest-themed crafts created by each classroom that will be on sale at the festival.
And for the who like to spice things up, the Harvest Festival will bring back its popular Chili Cook-off, hosted by Mill Valley’s Mayor Dick Swanson, Councilman Christopher Raker and KGO-TV’s weatherman, Joel Bartlett.
