El Portal offers a comprehensive array of Spanish language services to students, residents, businesses, and institutions. Perhaps you are wanting to take Spanish language lessons or need one-on-one tutoring, we offer lessons or tutoring at your home or business. Translation services are offered by page or on a project based basis.
El Portal's founder, Mario A. Sagastume, received his BA in '94 and MA in '96 in Romance Languages (Spanish and Italian Literature) from the University of Oregon and has been a resident of Lane County for the past fifteen years. He has been actively tutoring and teaching since 1992 and has traveled with students to Central America. Mario is a native speaker of the Spanish language and incorporates a broader cultural perspective to his teaching methods.
