Ribbon Microphones

I have been researching and working on ribbon microphones for many years. Besides of servicing, I have built (without counting prototypes) at least a dozen ribbon microphones of different configurations--Figure 8, cardioid, omni, hypbrid; using different magnets, different signal paths between front and rear of the ribbon, etc. Here I would like to share my experience with anybody interested. I am planning on designing and manufacturing ribbon microphones and kits, and will be updating this page frequently, so please check soon.
