There is an interesting story with this plate. In February of 2004 I was on holiday in Australia and was visiting Phillip Island, south of Melbourne in Victoria state. It so happened that I saw a personalized bus plate from the Northern Territory which I hadn't seen before so I photographed it. Months later a collecting friend in Australia offered this plate for sale with many others. I thought the plate looked familiar and went back into my holiday photos. Voila, it was the EXACT same plate! What are the odds....!
