  Baden-Württemberg 

Current series passenger plate.  This plate is shorter than the standard Euro plates by one digit.

Current series passenger plate.  S= Stuttgart.

Current series passenger plate.  HN= Heilbronn.

Current series seasonal motorcycle plate.  S= Stuttgart.  This plate would be valid only from April through October each year.

1956-93 series passenger plates from Ludwigsburg.  Top one has the old seal style and lower has the current style of seal.

1956-93 series passenger plate.  SHA = Schwäbisch Hall.

1956-93 series passenger plate.  GP= Göppingen.

Current series provisional plate.  Expired 27. May 2000.  LÖ= Lörrach

  Bayern 

Current series passenger pair.  BT= Bayreuth.

Current series passenger plate.  A= Augsburg.

Current series passenger plate.  FÜ= Fürth.

Current series government vehicle plate.  NU= Neu Ulm.  Low numbers usually reserved for higher ranking officials.

Berlin

Current series passenger plate.  B= Berlin.

1994 series passenger plate.  B= Berlin.  This plate comes from the first Euro series which still had the dash between the Landkreis code and the serial number.  The smaller silver tax seals were used at that time.

 Brandenburg  

Current series passenger plate.  TF= Teltow-Flaming

Current series seasonal motorcycle plate.  P= Potsdam.  This plate would be valid only from March through November each year.

Early 1990s passenger plate.  EE= Elbe-Elster.  This plate comes from the first Euro series which still had the dash between the Landkreis code and the serial number.  The smaller silver tax seals were used at that time.

  Bremen 

Current series passenger plate.  HB= Hansestadt Bremen

Current series seasonal passenger plate.  HB= Hansestadt Bremen.  This plate was only valid each year from August through October.

  Hamburg 

Current series passenger plate.  HH= Hansestadt Hamburg

  Hessen 

Current series passenger plate.  DA= Darmstadt

1956-93 series passenger plate in two-line format.  Has old Landkreis and 1965 TÜV stickers.  FH= Frankfurt-Mainhöchst.  The FH designation was retired in 1980.

1956-93 series police motorcycle.  WI= Wiesbaden.  This style of plate, I believe was only used in Wiesbaden.

  Mecklenburg-Vorpommern  

Current series passenger plate.  DBR= Bad Doberan

Current series passenger plate.  GÜ= Güstrow

Current series motorcycle plate.  MÜR= Müritz

1956-93 series passenger plate.  RM= Röbel/Müritz.

1956-93 tax-free series plate. WRN= Waren.
